IMG_0026.JPG I know most people read Life of Pi years ago when it first came out but I hadn’t. Then the movie came out and I DVRed it with the intention of watching it when I’d read the book but time went by and I still never read the book. Finally, our book club put it on the list … Last year … But we pushed it off and still I never read it. Finally, it came up again on our book club list for this November and I finally read it – glad I did.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s not my favorite book, I found the first 20% dragged some but the next 60% flew by – practically in an afternoon only to be hampered by the last 20%. And while I knew there was closure the ending left me wondering, which story was true (if you read it you know what I mean). As a matter of fact, I found the last bit, tedious and I would have much rather had more interaction between the “author” and Pi than what was presented. Oh well.

Anyway as I said not a favorite but a good read.
