  1. Marcia, I lent my book to someone but when she gives it back, I can send it to you if you’re interested.

  2. Kim, I hope you’re feeling better! This book looks really interesting, and I like Geraldine Brooks. I read her Year of Wonders a couple of years ago, and it was very good.

  3. Thanks for the book review; I am going to see if I can get a copy – from the only person who is not actually in a book club. Sounds like the chemo fog is lifting.

  4. Chiocciola, check out my book club’s website, specifically, Books Read. We’ve gone through dozens of them and some of my favorites are, The Interpreter of Maladies, Shadow of the Wind, Water for Elephants, Grapes of Wrath, The Virgin Blue, The Handmaid’s Tale and The Red Tent.

  5. I am glad to see you posting again – it means you must be feeling better. Good!

  6. This book sounds very interesting, I’ll check it out. I am in a (very informal) book club and for the next meeting I have to present three books that I recommend/want to read for our next selection. This one might fit the bill.
